Massive Ulster County drug ring busted, sheriff's office says

Twenty-three people face drug charges after the Ulster County Sheriff's Office broke up a "massive" drug-dealing ring on Friday that sold heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana and pharmaceuticals across the region, police said.

Police seized an undisclosed amount of drugs during the raids, which were conducted by the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team in cooperation with local law enforcement agencies.

The raids stemmed from a 13-month investigation, the sheriff's office said.
