Two men wanted in connection with burglaries in Thornwood and Hawthorne are now behind bars.

THORNWOOD - Business owners are breathing a sigh of relief after learning the suspects wanted in connection with a string of burglaries have been caught.

Miguel Rodriguez, of Sleepy Hollow, and Cristian Vargas-Minaya, of New York City, are accused of breaking into a deli on Kensico Road in Thornwood. Police say the two then burglarized 10 businesses in Thornwood and Hawthorne between late February and early July.

The business owners are thrilled that the police finally caught the pair.

One owner said anyone thinking of committing a crime better watch out because the police are on top of everything.
