Monsey teen charged in clothing store theft

A Clarkstown clothing store employee cooked the books and pocketed nearly $2,000 in cash, police said Thursday.
Ljumbomir Nikolic, 19, of Monsey, has been charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and falsifying business records, Clarkstown police said in a statement.
Nikolic, an employee at Abercrombie & Fitch at the Palisades Center in West Nyack, created false returns and pocketed the money, police said. A total of $1,920.54 was reported stolen.

Nikolic was arrested at the mall Wednesday afternoon. He was arraigned in Clarkstown Town Court before Justice Rolf Thorsen and was sent to the Rockland County Jail in lieu of $750 bail. His next court date is Monday.
No attorney information was available for Nikolic on Thursday.
