Following in his brothers' footsteps, Ryan spent a decade in the Boy Scouts. He's received 21 merit badges, ranging from swimming and first aid to wilderness survival.

For his special Eagle Scout project, Ryan built and installed two benches and a set of horseshoe pits at the local Elks Lodge. "It's huge. Both of my older brothers have done it. I am very excited. I think it helps me a lot as a person … leadership skills definitely benefitted from this," says Flynn

This fall, Flynn will be attending Manhattan College, where he plans to major in engineering.
