WOODBURY - A series of sewer breaks in Nassau have become a big health concern.

Hurricane Sandy breached the sewer system at Barnes Avenue in Baldwin and North Boulevard in East Rockaway, prompting the Nassau County Health Department to declare a state of emergency for affected homes.

County officials say cleanup services will be provided at no cost. State of emergency declared for some Baldwin, E. Rockaway homes
