NEWS12 WESTCHESTER: Mount Vernon's police chief Monday used his marathon training to chase down a suspected gunman in a daytime shooting incident. Police Chief John Roland was driving when he saw a man fire shots and jump into a getaway car. Roland followed the car and later chased and caught the suspect when he stopped his car and fled on foot. Roland arrested Shane Jumbo, 22, of Mount Vernon. Two other men in the vehicle were arrested as well. (March 26, 2013)
