Police seek suspects in Melville stabbing

Suffolk County police detectives are seeking two suspects in the stabbing of a 43-year-old male victim at a Melville residence, a department spokeswoman said Tuesday.

The attack took place at about 10:35 p.m. Monday after two men went to a home on Altamore Street in Melville, police said.

The victim was at the Altamore Street home, police said. A dispute among the three -- the two suspects and the victim -- escalated and one of the suspects pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim, causing serious injury, police said.
