Court elections: GOP picks Watson, others

Nassau Deputy Comptroller Joy Watson is slated to get a one of several Republican nominations for state Supreme Court, party sources say.

Not all slots are settled, but incumbent Peter Skelos, brother of the State Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos, and Appellate Justice James Catterson, son of the late Suffolk District Attorney James M. Catterson Jr., are expected to be renominated.
