Gillibrand rebuffs GOP, says '08 trade netted $79G
As the Senate began debating the STOCK Act Wednesday, New York GOP chairman Ed Cox accused Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) of hypocrisy for backing the measure to ban lawmakers from insider trading when her husband shorted housing stocks as the market tumbled in 2008.
