Cops: Dog bites cop assaulted by suspects
Three people were arrested in Flanders Thursday after they assaulted a police officer, who was then bitten by one of the suspect's dogs, police said.
The incident began to unfold at about 2:25 p.m. after Southampton Town Police Officer Steven Frankenbach tried to pull over a motorcyclist in Flanders.
