For some local women, it's wait and see for Palin
Kathy Liguori was delighted to hear John McCain chose a woman, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, as his running mate. But that doesn't mean Liguori will be voting for the GOP ticket.
"Just because she's a woman doesn't mean that she's going to take care of the things that working mothers and working families need," said Liguori, of Nesconset, who runs two day care centers, in Medford and Middle Island.
