Dobbs Ferry screening of anti-fracking film set

A screening and discussion of the film "Dear Governor Cuomo: New Yorkers Against Fracking in One Voice," will begin at 7 p.m. March 13 at the Dobbs Ferry Public Library.

Directed by Jon Bowermaster, the documentary explains the controversial energy drilling process known as "fracking," and features actors Mark Ruffalo and Melissa Leo, environmental biologist Sandra Steingraber, and musicians Natalie Merchant and Joan Osborne.

A panel discussion featuring Ellen Weininger of Grassroots Environmental Education, David Braun of United For Action and NYers Against Fracking, and Erin Heaton of the Sierra Club will follow the film.
