Ruth Bader Ginsburg hospitalized with pancreatic cancer
U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg - the only woman on the bench -- underwent surgery in Manhattan Thursday for what was described as an early-stage pancreatic tumor.
The cancer was diagnosed last month at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md., but Ginsburg, a native of New York, chose to have cancer surgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
