Survival Tripled for Hospitalized U.S. Kids With Cardiac Arrest
Children who suffer cardiac arrest in U.S. hospitals were three times more likely to survive in 2009 compared to 2000, due to better initial resuscitation methods, according to a new study.
The study also found that the risk of brain impairment in children who survive cardiac arrest has not increased.
