Georgia Holland handled the pressure and ran the Ward Melville offense smoothly. Teammate Kaitlyn Carballeira was a force inside and didn't let Copiague get to the basket.

Ward Melville's suffocating defense held Copiague scoreless for a period of 13 minutes, 22 seconds spanning the second and third quarters. Add it all up and that's part of the recipe the Patriots hope will make them contenders...
