Lawyers drop felony charges
Prosecutors dropped felony charges yesterday against the
man accused of threatening to kill Queens Councilman Hiram Monserrate last
summer, saying his actions don't add up to a terrorist act after all.
But Julio Abreu, 53, of 96-10 37th Ave. in Corona, still must appear in
Criminal Court in Kew Gardens July 16 to face a misdemeanor charge of
aggravated harassment...
