Cops seek Great Neck bank robber

A Capital One Bank branch in Great Neck was robbed yesterday morning, police said.

A man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and baseball cap presented a note demanding money to a teller at the Capital One branch at 60 Cutter Mill Rd., Great Neck, about 11 a.m., police said.

After taking the money, police said, the man, who was in his 30s and about 5 feet, 11 inches tall, fled on foot in an unknown direction. None of the eight people in the bank at the time of the robbery were injured, police said.

Detectives asked that anyone with information contact Crime Stoppers 800-244-TIPS.
