The best Italian restaurant on Long Island is Domenico's of Levittown. Friendly neighborhood atmosphere, inexpensive menu, and
mozzarella sticks to die for. You heard it: they serve the best sticks around, and believe me, my girlfriend Christine and I have searched all over for their rival. So go to Domenico's on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown for some great Italian food!

While I am a big fan of the mozzarella stick, honestly, how can you screw it up ? It's breaded cheese..........I wonder what's their secret recipe ? Furthermore, if they serve it with sauce they are not real I-talians, it should be served with gravy.

Long Islanders should be looking for healthy restaurants and vegetarian. The locals are fat enough as it is.

Benny's is wonderful. Benny is usually there to make sure you are well taken care of. The food is delicious and the presentation beautiful.

This is not flashy food but consistent and yummy.

Have moved to SC where The Olive Gardn is considered gourmet Italian Food. The best places to eat Italian are IMO Cafe Baci in Westbury. The homemade Napoleloen is unbeleiveable, along with their sister restaurant Spasso's also in Westbury. Great food and GREAT prices. Caio Baby in Massapequa is also excellent.

Carmella's at the corner of Merrick Road and Seaford Avenue in Massapequa. It's a pizzeria/restaurant with a seperate dinning area. Nice family oriented place with excellent food and prices. I can say it's the only place I've never been disapointed with.

King Umberto's in Elmont...they never disappoint, treat everyone like royalty...and it's the only place you can get fried cappelini, which really is to die for.

For the finest in Italian Seafood we always go to Vincents Clam Bar in Carle Place. The food is always fantastic and the service is always excellent. Their extensive menu always allows us to bring our non seafood dining friends who really enjoy the cuisine. It is also a terrific value based upon quantity and quality of the portions. I would definately suggest Vincents to all of my friends.
