The East Farmingdale Fire Co. responded to a working house fire at 418 11th St. just before 9:30 pm where two civilians were injured. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and will be investigated by officials. One of the injured was an elderly man who went back into the home for a family pet and suffered smoke inhalation. The second victim was the mans wife, both of them were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital by East Farmingdale Fire Dept. Ambulance. The fire was knocked down and brought under control in about 15 minutes.
