An Australian hockey player’s selfie is getting the royal seal of approval from Queen Elizabeth II.

Jayde Taylor snapped a photo of herself with teammate Brooke Peris after winning a match at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow on Thursday. The Queen, who was in the Scottish city taking in the games, posed behind them with a broad smile on her face.

“Aaaahhh the Queen photo-bombed our selfie @chookieperis3 #royalty #queenie #onceinalifetime @auscomgames,” Taylor posted on Instagram.

That was followed up by a tweet to @TheEllenShow:

“@TheEllenShow I think our selfie tops yours! #queenselfie #queenphotobomb #hockeyroos #callme,” she tweeted, referencing the infamous Oscars selfie.

Taylor’s royal photobomb selfie had been retweeted more than 6,500 times by Thursday evening.

We are definitely amused.
