Colo. officials: No inquiries on Gitmo detainees
DENVER (AP) — Colorado officials say they haven't been contacted by the federal government regarding housing detainees from Guantanamo Bay in the state.
Federal officials on Monday toured an empty prison in Illinois under consideration to house the detainees. Colorado's Supermax federal prison in Florence has also been mentioned as another possible site.
