Lasor Weapons System technology

The U.S Navy has announced plans at the Sea-Air-Space exposition to deploy for the first time a solid-state laser aboard a ship in 2014. This Laser system, called 'LaWS' provides Nacy ships a method of easily defeating small boats or aerial targets without using bullets.
