Lauren Spierer search: Volunteers put up posters at Indiana University

Groups posted fliers on the campus of Indiana University Sunday.

There's a renewed effort to find a missing college student from Edgemont as the second anniversary of her disappearance approaches.

On Sunday, a group of volunteers put up fliers with Lauren Spierer's picture and other information on the campus of Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind. Spierer, who was a student there, vanished on June 3, 2011 after a night of partying.

The event, called "Putting Up More Posters for Lauren," took place a week before she would have graduated from college.

Lauren's parents, Rob and Charlene Spierer, posted a message on their Facebook page, thanking the volunteers who participated in the poster event. "Your commitment and support as we continue our search for our daughter is remarkable. Hoping for answers. Hoping today is the day someone will finally come forward."
