LIers seek Obama inauguration tickets from local pols
WASHINGTON - There may be two more months before Barack Obama is sworn in as president, but thousands of Long Islanders already are flooding local congressional offices with requests for tickets.
But with demand far exceeding supply, thousands of those requests for seats or standing-room spots for the Jan. 20 inauguration ceremony certainly won't be met.
