Marine killed in Afghanistan laid to rest on Cape
MASHPEE, Mass. (AP) — A Marine whose parents live on Cape Cod is being laid to rest.
A funeral Mass for Capt. Eric Jones was scheduled for Saturday morning at the John Wesley United Methodist Church in Falmouth. Burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne will follow.
The 29-year-old Jones grew up in Pound Ridge, N.Y., but spent his summers on the Cape.
