Paterson: He's 'happy serving' as governor
ALBANY - Gov. David A. Paterson yesterday ruled out appointing himself to replace Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton if she were tapped for a cabinet post by President-elect Barack Obama.
"I want to run for re-election as governor in 2010," Paterson told reporters in a telephone conference. He also said he was "very happy" serving as the state's chief executive.
