Obama talks immigration reform

Immigration Reform is an umbrella topic for many, affecting over 11 million illegal immigrants living in the U.S. After Arizona strengthened its border policies and began stopping residents to verify their U.S. citizen status, the holes in the U.S. immigration policy were pushed to the forefront of Obama's agenda. As part of his plan for immigration reform, the president has pushed for children who have moved to America with their parents to be able to become American citizens. On June 11, 2013 the Senate voted for the first time on legislation that would open doors for discussing how the U.S. will deal with immigrations issues across the nation.
