Vandy Nash named Ark teacher of year
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — A fourth-grade teacher at Indian Hills Elementary is the Arkansas teacher of the year.
Vandy Nash was named Friday evening in a ceremony at the Governor's Mansion.
Nash receives $15,000, a nomination for the national teacher of the year award, and she'll spend one year as a mentor to other Arkansas teachers.
