First responders, advocates and politicians Friday criticized the defeat in the House this week of the Sept. 11 health bill.

The James Zadroga 9/11 health bill failed to get the required two-thirds majority Thursday night in the House of Representatives under a special voting procedure. Thursday's vote was 255-159. If a simple majority was called for, only 218 votes would have been needed...
