Briarcliff SPCA gets new animal toys and beds

Dozens of homemade beds, cat cushions and catnip toys were given to the animals of the Briarcliff SPCA. The beds were made by local volunteers at Fabric Mart in Yorktown Heights who spent hours sewing donated fabric.

Dancing For Animals is a nonprofit organization that teamed up with Rational Animals' Mothers Comfort Project to sew more than 130 pet beds, bottom center, for the SPCA in Briarcliff Manor. Eighteen volunteers worked for seven hours on sewing machines donated by Fabric Mart in their workshop space. The beds were also taken to Pets Alive in Elmsford. (March 6, 2013)
