Inside the home, authorities discovered books about autism and Asperger's syndrome, in addition to an NRA guide on pistol shooting. They also unearthed a cache of weapons, including guns, knives and swords, and thousands of rounds of ammunition.

The documents add that Lanza was wearing a bulletproof vest and military-style clothing when he was found deceased inside Sandy Hook Elementary School back on Dec. 14.
