Once again, it seems Naomi Campbell likes striking her hired help more than she likes striking poses.

The 39-year-old model with a notoriously short fuse allegedly attacked her driver yesterday afternoon before disappearing into the streets of midtown.

The 27-year-old chauffeur, whose name wasn’t immediately released, told police he pulled the black Cadillac Escalade over after Campbell hit him from behind and his head struck the steering wheel, causing bruising under his right eye.

Tuesday night police were looking for Campbell and were weighing whether to charge her.

“There shouldn’t be a rush to judgment,” said her spokesman Jeff Raymond. “Naomi will cooperate voluntarily, and there is more to the story than meets the eye.”

The driver, apparently hired for the day, told police he picked Campbell up at a Manhattan hotel and was taking her to Kaufman Astoria Studios in Queens. Their trip, however, came to an abrupt end when she allegedly got furious for an unknown reason.

According to the New York Post, the driver — who had “bumps and bruises” — was interviewed by police, as was her personal assistant.

A hellish boss, the British-born Campbell has been accused at least four times in the past of assaulting her staff.
