GyroLIcious, a Greek restaurant in East Meadow, has closed.

Fuego Picante, a Mexican barbecue restaurant on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow, is now closed. Having gone through a recent change in chef and menu, it was the most recent in a series of Singh Hospitality Group-owned dining spots to founder in the same space. Its predecessors were Kansas City Smokehouse, RUB BBQ, Long Fin, BeSi, Ruby's Famous BBQ and Louis & Marxx.

In East Meadow, a new branch of Muscle Maker Grill has opened, replacing Sarku Asian Express, a food court-style eatery that didn’t make it through its first year.

A recent find you may want to check out is Sabroso, a little Dominican place in East Meadow. Talk about value for the money.

Fuego Picante, while neither fiery nor spicy for food, does manage to burn up your wallet.
You may effortlessly drop a lot of pesos at the new , casual Mexican "smokehouse & cantina,+" which succeeds a series of short-lived restaurants at this Hempstead Turnpike site.

Azerbaijan Grill in East Meadow is now called Sufiya’s Mediterranean Grill. New ownership; same chef, menu and crew as before.
The original Azerbaijan Grill in Westbury remains under the ownership of Saeid Sheikhlar, who sold the East Meadow restaurant to a family friend, Ali Motamedi, who renamed the restaurant for his newborn daughter.
