BlonDee’s Bistro & Bar in Huntington has closed.

The place was launched back in 2012 as Two Blondes and a Stove, serving only breakfast and lunch.  A split between partners led to a new name, BlonDee’s Bistro, with Dena Fenza the sole blonde behind the business.

Say goodbye to the Patchogue branch of Canz-a-Citi Roadhouse, a big, boisterous bar and grill where multiple TVs blared multiple sports events and female servers in tank tops and short-shorts ferried food and drink to tables.

Meanwhile, in the vacated space, a new barbecue spot is getting ready to open within the next couple of months.

La Cocina Del Papa y la Mama in Freeport is gone. The Dominican restaurant opened last year, taking over the little storefront that previously housed La Cocina de Marcia, also Dominican. Energy Kitchen, a Syosset eatery on Jericho Turnpike, has run out of steam. The place was geared to low-cal healthy eating and opened in 2012 as the first Long Island branch of a New York City chain. Now, it seems, the entire operation has gone under.
