The Rombout Fire Company in Fishkill will host two benefit pancake breakfasts for the Breezy Point Volunteer Fire Company in Queens: on Sunday, Nov. 25, and Sunday, Dec. 23.

The breakfasts are from 8 to 11 a.m. at Rombout Station One at 901 Main St., Fishkill, near Exit 12 on Interstate 84. All proceeds will go to the Point Breeze Volunteer Fire Company, the Rombout company said in a statement Thursday.

Firefighter chefs will serve hot pancakes, eggs, sausages, bacon, hash browns and toast with hot coffee, tea and orange juice, with omelets made the way you want them. The price is $8 for adults; $7 for senior citizens; $6 for children 5 to 12; and free for kids under 5 years old. For more information, call 845-896-8620 or visit www.romboutfire.com or the Rombout Fire Company Facebook page.

Also during the event, 50/50 raffle tickets will be offered, with half of the proceeds going to the Point Breeze Volunteer Fire Department and the other half to a lucky winner. Tickets will be available at both breakfasts and the 50/50 drawing will be at 10:45 a.m. Dec. 23.

Superstorm Sandy had a catastrophic impact on the entire tri-state region but the Breezy Point community in Queens, in particular, was devastated by flooding and a fire that burned down scores of homes.
