Freezing kitten rescued from Oceanside storm drain
A lucky kitten has eight lives left after being rescued from a storm drain on Long Island.
The rescue happened Saturday in a parking lot on Long Beach Road. Firefighters rushed to the scene after a passerby heard a cat crying beneath a drainage grate.
The firefighters tried to coax the kitten out of the grate but it was too scared to move. Then they scared it with a fire extinguisher...
