This Thanksgiving season marks the reunion — after 64 years — of a Holocaust survivor and the Polish Christian who risked his life to save him.
Bronislaw Firuta (BROH’-nee-slahv Fee-ROO’-tah) is scheduled to arrive at Kennedy International Airport on Wednesday afternoon. He will be greeted by a forever grateful Joseph Bonder, who now lives in Monroe Township, N.J.
