The CBS drama “Person of Interest” filmed Wednesday in New Rochelle, with shooting taking place on North Avenue between Pelham Road and Main Street. The roads were closed during the shoot, which concluded shortly after 4 p.m.

“Person of Interest” is a crime drama starring Jim Caviezel and Michael Emerson, with Caviezel playing John Reese, a former CIA agent who teams up with Harold Finch, a billionaire software genius (Emerson), to prevent crimes before they can occur.

The day's shoot included a chase scene in which a motorcyclist pursues a white sports car and nearly hits a New York City taxicab. The vehicles were driven by stunt drivers. Later in the day, Caviezel arrived on set and portrayed the motorcyclist. The scene showed his character approaching the car, only to find that there was no one in the driver's seat.

Julie Brown and her son, Jake, both of the Bronx, waited in the rain for hours to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars during filming.

“We’re willing to wait if Reese was coming ... or Finch. I’d wait a couple of hours,” Julie said, before Caviezel had arrived. “And don’t forget Carter,” added her son, referring to the character played by Taraji P. Henson.

Hopefully, mother and son continued to wait, since Caviezel posed for photos with fans and local police officers after filming his scenes.
