'Star Trek: Into Darkness' second trailer revealed
"Star Trek: Into Darkness" producers revealed its second trailer via the Internet shortly before noon today, re-energizing the sci-fi franchise's devout fans.
First posted on iTunes' movie trailers site, the two-minute "exclusive teaser" is twice as long as the "teaser trailer" that first made the rounds 11 days ago and gave Trekkers their first look at the movie, slated for wide release May 17.
At the helm of "Into Darkness" is Sarah Lawrence College alumnus J.J. Abrams, who also directed and produced the 2009 "Star Trek" reboot that hauled in more than $250 million at the domestic box office.
