'The Truth About Lies' filming in Chappaqua today

"The Truth About Lies," an independent romantic comedy starring Odette Annable, is filming in the Morning View Heights and Hardscrabble Lake areas of Chappaqua today. A caravan of about 10 cars, three vans, three trucks and a tour bus was spotted coming and going this morning in the residential area, where the crew was doing a one-day shoot of a lake scene for the film.

While executive producer Kim Jackson said the movie will be shot primarily in Manhattan, she said the crew was also shooting in nearby Valhalla this week. Further scenes in Westchester may be shot in the days following Thanksgiving, she added.

Produced by Rumpus Entertainment and directed by Phil Allocco, the film stars Fran Kranz alongside Odette Annable, who is married to Dave Annable, a "666 Park Avenue" star who was born in Suffern and raised in Walden. 

The film is scheduled for a 2013 release.
