Federal aviation officials are investigating how a taxiing plane bumped another plane preparing for departure Saturday morning on the tarmac at Kennedy Airport.

About 6:15 a.m., the wingtip of an Air India Boeing 777 that had just landed clipped the tail of a JetBlue Airbus A320, Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said.

No injuries were reported.
