John Liu wins NYC Dem comptroller runoff

NEW YORK (AP) — John Liu has won the New York City runoff deciding the Democratic nomination for comptroller.

If he wins the Nov. 3 general election, he would be the first Asian-American elected to citywide office in New York City.
