Police say they've found a 3-year-old boy who disappeared while riding a Brooklyn subway with his grandfather.

They say another adult riding with Kah-yon Reynolds on Friday returned him safely to his Newark, New Jersey home.

Police had been frantically searching for Kah-yon for several hours after his grandfather reported him missing.

Helicopters with spotlights searched for him near the Gowanus station where they were last seen boarding a northbound F train.

Police say Kah-yon's grandfather fell asleep on the train and panicked when he woke up in Queens and didn't see the boy.

Police say they're investigating.
