A 39-year-old man was fatally shot in the head on an MTA bus in Brooklyn Thursday shortly before 6:30 p.m., the NYPD said.
Angel Rojas, of Church Avenue in Brooklyn, was taken to Woodhull Medical Center, where he pronounced dead on arrival, the NYPD said. The shooting happened on the B15 bus at Lafayette Avenue and Marcus Garvey Boulevard in Bedford-Stuyvesant, police said.
A youth in his early teens was arrested and charged with possession of a handgun, but it was not immediately clear if he was the shooter, police said.
The gunman and the victim were both on the bus at the time of the attack, the NYPD said.
