The charitable foundation started by Yonkers native Mary J. Blige paid the overdue college bills for a scholarship student, according to a report.

The New York Post reported the nonprofit has made an electronic payment of $2,459 for Gennevive Sarfoah's student debt at SUNY Canton.

The organization, a women empowerment foundation, has also been accused of not repaying a $250,000 TD Bank loan, of not filing tax returns for 2010, and has been hit with two lawsuits by musicians who say they weren't paid for benefit performances.
