Model seder demonstrated at Westchester Community College
Students and faculty from the Culinary Arts and Management program at Westchester Community College presented a model seder luncheon Thursday, which was led by Rabbi Frank Tamburello, who also explained the ritual feast for non-Jewish guests. The program's model seder, which wasn't offered last year because of a lack of facilities, took place for the first time in the school's new Instructional Dining Room inside the recently renovated Student Center Building in Valhalla. The Passover seder is a Jewish ritual feast that marks the beginning of the Jewish holiday of Passover, which this year begins March 25 and ends the evening of April 2. (March 14, 2013)
