One mother’s airline rant at LaGuardia Airport has gone viral.
A video published to YouTube on March 30 captures a woman berating an American Airlines employee for a 12-hour flight delay, which she worried would jeopardize her Disney cruise.

“You lied to me. You lied to me. I’m sitting here since eight o’clock, with a 9-year-old waiting for our vacation,” the woman screams as the camera then pans to a young girl sobbing as she holds a stuffed animal.
According to an American Airlines spokesman, the woman was waiting for a flight bound for Miami that was scheduled to depart on March 24 at 9 p.m. The video was recorded at 2 a.m. the next morning, though passengers didn’t depart until 8:50 a.m.
The footage was later posted on Facebook, where it had more than 678,000 views as of Wednesday afternoon.
“We do apologize that passengers on American Airlines Flight 2240 were delayed due to inclement weather at New York’s LaGuardia Airport,” the spokesman said in an email.
The inbound aircraft, which was coming from Miami, diverted to Philadelphia “due to high winds” at LaGuardia, according to the spokesman.
Jade W, the YouTube user who uploaded the video, wrote in the video’s description that passengers were not provided hotel vouchers, but were given a $12 food credit, “totally worth the 12-hour wait!” she wrote.
An American Airlines spokesman said it’s not company policy to give overnight vouchers for delays caused by bad weather.
Despite the 12-hour delay, the unidentified woman and her children appear to have made it on to their cruise.
According to a Disney Cruise Line spokeswoman, everyone scheduled to depart on the Disney cruise made it onboard.
