NY man evades ticket by running over traffic agent
An NYPD traffic agent was hospitalized withbroken legs and a head injury after she was run down by a drivertrying to evade a parking ticket.
The incident happened Friday afternoon on Jerome Avenue in theBronx.
Police say the 26-year-old agent was about to write a ticket fora double-parked car when the motorist ran to the vehicle, got inand tried to drive away.
