(AP) — Police say a worker has died after falling from scaffolding at an upper Manhattan construction site.
Police say 51-year-old Josef Wilk, of Jackson Heights, Queens, fell from the 3rd floor into a construction elevator shaft on West 129th Street just after 2 p.m. Friday.
Police say Wilk was taken to St. Luke's Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
