NYC group inducts 7 into People's Hall of Fame

NEW YORK (AP) — From the guy who runs the rollercoaster to the men who ring the bells, seven New Yorkers have been inducted into a People's Hall of Fame for their contributions to the city's cultural life.

City Lore is the group behind the hall of fame. The nonprofit organization tries to preserve the city's cultural heritage.
